Role Summary/Purpose:
This VP Consumer Bank Pricing and Finance Analytics role will be responsible for delivering insights and thought leadership to the broader Consumer Bank team through analytics that support the achievement of Consumer & Affinity Bank growth goals, the end-to-end pricing management process, compliance and deposits regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc analyses to understand product enhancements and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
This role partners closely with the Finance, Treasury Liquidity and Market Risk teams, and also coordinates with the broader analytics team to leverage multiple data sources and types to provide cohesive analytics that inform and direct strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:
Lead data strategy and insight generation for portfolio management, guiding data-driven decisions on pricing, product mix and customer segmentation
Own and understand product level financial performance and key supporting metrics to provide actionable insights that progress Consumer Bank growth goals
Become a proficient user of the Curinos Analyzer and Optimizer tools to drive pricing segmentation and analytics, and provide data support to the Curinos team
Partner with the Compliance & Regulatory Reporting team to drive detail-oriented analytics, reinforcing a consistent and governed process
Own all dashboard, reporting and insights generation for the Consumer Bank Finance and Affinity Deposits teams; identify opportunities to create new tools that eliminate manual processes and support data driven decision-making and drive business performance
Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested
Provide day-to-day leadership guidance to a junior team member, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality, impactful work
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree OR in lieu of Bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma / GED and a minimum of 9+ years of analytics experience in the consumer banking, financial services, credit card, payments or consulting industry
A minimum of 7+ years of progressive work experience to include:
5+ years of experience in analytics for Finance and P&L Management
5+ years actively using and optimizing SQL and SAS to pull and summarize large datasets and perform ad-hoc analyses
3+ years developing advanced data visualizations and presentations with Tableau
3+ years using advanced Excel features, including vlookup/xlookup, conditional formatting, data validation and intermediate formulas
Desired Characteristics:
Experience using large quantities of data from various sources and performing advanced analytics to drive decision-making
A passion to transform raw data into actionable insights, with a strong background in designing and leading the creation of data visualization toolsets.
Highly motivated, self-directed and curious to learn new technologies
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to present to business users or management teams
Strong leadership, analytic and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Experience influencing and directing people within and outside of reporting structure
A thoughtful and supportive people leader who creates clarity, builds trust and offers collaborative, strategic guidance
Grade/Level: 12
The salary range for this position is 135,000.00 - 230,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
