Job Description

**CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL TO THE MEMPHIS, TN. AREA.  Will only consider local candidates.  MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK FOR ALL U.S. EMPLOYERS.**

LDC is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Data Analytics team. This internship offers hands-on experience in data analytics, providing exposure to real-world challenges and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects. The role includes activities spanning from data discovery and analysis to development, testing, and implementation of data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data collection, cleaning, analysis, and reporting tasks
  • Collaborate with business unit stakeholders across multiple locations to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements
  • Support team members in daily operations and ongoing projects
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning activities
  • Conduct research on assigned topics and present key findings
  • Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate results

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work for all U.S. employers.  
  • Must be local to the Memphis, TN. area.  Only local candidates will be considered.  
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; or current student in Junior or Senior year of college
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Python, Power BI, and SQL is required
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn new tools and concepts
