As a Renewals Manager, you will lead the full renewal lifecycle for a high volume of SMB and Commercial customers. You'll own and scale the renewal motion for our highest-volume customer segment - driving strong gross retention, reducing churn, and building efficient, proactive renewal workflows that deliver value to both customers and Superhuman.
Experience: You likely have 3–5 years of experience in SaaS renewals, Customer Success, or Account Management. You’ve managed high-volume renewal pipelines and are comfortable negotiating contract terms and pricing. You bring strong forecasting skills to renewal outcomes and know how to collaborate cross-functionally to reduce churn.
Commercial Confidence & Negotiation: You’re comfortable leading commercial conversations — whether it’s discussing pricing, navigating objections, or structuring win-win outcomes. You bring clarity to terms, hold your ground when needed, and know how to tailor your message to drive alignment and close the loop.
Forecasting & Pipeline Hygiene: You maintain clean, up-to-date records and can confidently speak to where every deal or renewal stands. You’re proactive in flagging risks, calling your shot, and delivering reliable forecasts — helping your team plan with confidence.
Ownership & Accountability: You take full responsibility for your book, your metrics, and your outcomes. You’re proactive in solving problems, asking for help when needed, and following through on what you commit to. When something slips, you’re the first to raise your hand and course-correct.
Process Improvement & Operational Rigor: You spot inefficiencies and don’t just work around them — you suggest better ways forward. You bring structure to repeatable tasks, look for ways to automate or simplify, and help build systems that scale. You’re known for keeping the trains running on time.
AI Enthusiast: You believe AI will revolutionize how we work as well as the experiences that we create for our customers. Driven by passion and curiosity, you leverage AI to dramatically increase your own productivity and the impact of your team.
Asynchronous Communicator: You’re effective across various mediums (especially Slack, notion, and email) and can produce and consume detailed written materials as needed without sacrificing speed. You respond quickly and thoughtfully to unblock others and speed things up.
Delight and Empathy: You understand human behavior and develop targeted strategies with this in mind. You enjoy creating delight and moments of pleasant surprise.
Data-informed: You know how to define, measure, and manage sales funnel metrics.
Our starting salaries for this role range from $108,000 - $136,000 USD (OTE). The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, and company stock options.
You might notice our salary ranges are quite broad - that's because our talented workforce is distributed across North and South America. We tailor our compensation to each location to make sure we're competitive in every market.
For team members outside of the US we employ and pay through an Employer of Record (EOR). We take a location-based pay approach and compensation for this role is dependent on several factors such as location, work experience, job-related skills, business needs, and market demands.
