How We Work
As Student Achievement Partners works in a collective leadership model, we work in project-based design teams that include internal staff and external consultants and co-designers. Working collaboratively, these teams employ an equitable design approach to identify, define, investigate, and address challenges that education stakeholders (systems, educators, and students) are experiencing in the field. To do this work effectively and impactfully, there are nine principles that guide our organization, our work, and our relationships.
About the Position:
This is a full-time, project-based (12 month contract) role within SAP’s math program team. The ideal candidate for the Math Specialist role brings specific content area expertise in K-12 mathematics, including instructional experience (as a teacher, coach, or administrator). They will contribute to design teams focused on math, and cross-content-specific projects where they will work collaboratively with project managers, directors, and specialists as well as external partners across the sector to bring innovative and impactful ideas to systems, educators, and students. They will also act in an advisory capacity to our network of educators and partner organizations. As a team member of Student Achievement Partners, the Specialist actively contributes towards organizational learning and our commitment to becoming an anti-racist and multicultural organization by leveraging equitable design practices as a core part of their work.

Student Achievement Partners offers a competitive salary commensurate with experiences. The salary range for this position is$110,000-$135,000 . Additionally, Student Achievement Partners is a remote organization that provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes unlimited vacation time, unlimited sick days, professional development funds, medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA, and an employer-sponsored 401k retirement plan.
