A Day in the Life

This training professional will deliver Robotic Assisted Surgery
(RAS) technology training to surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff from a variety of surgical specialties aligned with the core strategy. In this role you will be actively involved in the continuous improvement
of training programs and provide support for customer training and training research initiatives.

You Will:

  • Deliver training courses to Health Care Professionals (HCP) at designated training partner facilities.

  • Establish relationships with designated external training entities in targeted global geographies • Work with the marketing and sales training team in a creative, dependable, and flexible manner to improve existing training programs

  • Support RAS System troubleshooting at the training center

  • Manage training center logistics, inventory, and training calendars in conjunction with key stakeholders

  • In conjunction with training center staff, maintain all capital equipment, including but not limited to the cleaning and reprocessing of instruments and accessories

Must Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 11+ years of relevant experience in a clinical lab setting, clinical training, field sales/support in medical device, healthcare industry or equivalent experience

  • Or Associate's Degree with 9+ years experience

  • Or Baccalaureate Degree with 7+ years experience

  • Or advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience – must include experience in Med Device

  • Clinical and/or operating room experience required

Nice to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Clinical or Health Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare Management, 

  • Engineering or Education preferred

  • Experience in robotic surgery, capital equipment or equivalent technology

  • Proven experience training on complex topics and/or technology

  • High capacity and excellent problem-solving skills

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to operate independently

  • Professional work ethic

  • Solution oriented

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles preferred

  • High capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment

  • Commitment self-development

  • Ability to work in a team environment

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):108,000 - 162,000

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
