St. Luke’s Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (COSM) is hiring a Part-Time Community/Retail Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Boise, Idaho.
This is a great opportunity for new graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow in a supportive, multidisciplinary clinic environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
What You’ll Do:
Deliver discharge medications and counseling through our Meds-to-Beds program.
Dispense prescriptions, perform medication reviews, and provide immunization services.
Educate patients on proper medication use, side effects, and adherence strategies.
Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and pharmacy technicians.
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy externs.
Maintain regulatory compliance and documentation standards.
Travel as needed to St. Luke’s pharmacy locations in Fruitland and Twin Falls.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Degree from an accredited pharmacy program (PharmD or equivalent).
Experience: 0 years required — open to recent graduates.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Idaho Pharmacist License (or eligibility to obtain).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from one of the following:
American Heart Association (AHA)
American Red Cross
American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI)
Immunization certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
Interest or experience in Meds-to-Beds, sports medicine, or orthopedic pharmacy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability in a hybrid inpatient/outpatient care environment.
Desire to contribute to the growth of an innovative pharmacy model.
Willingness to travel between local St. Luke’s sites as needed.
