08The Team: S&P Market Intelligence is seeking a candidate for the role of Business Development Support Associate to join the Data & Research Corporates Team. The D&R Corporates Team is responsible for defining the strategy for Professional Services & Alliances, Governments & Academics, and Corporate & Industrial Sector clients across our suite of data assets, platforms, and solutions. The team focuses on deeply understanding our clients’ workflows and through the development of strategic go-to-market efforts, driving relevant end-user engagement, and identification of growth opportunities. This team partners closely with the product development teams, sales, account management, customer success, marketing, and our clients across the globe.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Coordinate closely with the marketing, sales and business development teams to align strategies across various sub-segments within the Corporates business line.
Facilitate communication between the Corporates team and marketing to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns.
Assist in the development and execution of go-to-market initiatives aimed at enhancing brand visibility and product understanding by our end users – inclusive of those with key partners such as Snowflake and Databricks.
Partner with internal teams in creation, review, and maintenance of client-facing collateral and go-to-market materials.
Assist with internal communications and education within the Corporates business line.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform go-to-market strategies and business development efforts.
Provide feedback to improve products, product usability and the overall user experience.
Engage and build relationships with sales, account management and customer success teams to better understand our clients’ challenges and how our offerings can support their workflows.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $47,393 to $75,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
BS in Finance, Business, Marketing, or related field.
1-2 years of work experience in product management, marketing, client sales, or support in a corporate setting.
Understanding or interest in financial markets, data and technology.
Familiarity with marketing software and tools.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to collaborate and work well within multiple organizational and functional departments.
Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task across projects.
Team-first and winning mindset.
