Responsibilities
- Manage demand planning and sourcing for hardware in the Starlink satellite constellation.
- Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers.
- Aggregate and analyze overall demand signals for hardware components.
- Act as supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
- Partner internally to run RFX processes and implement sourcing decisions.
- Drive cost management to meet project budgets and forecasts.
- Develop should-cost models for competitive cost analysis.
- Ensure supplier readiness for prototype builds and mass production.
- Drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives with suppliers.
- Present value propositions and cost strategies to executives.
- Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Implement analytical tools for supplier performance management.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
