- Expertise in international accounting standards and US GAAP
- Experience with intercompany transactions, consolidations, and foreign currency translation
- Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 or other ERP accounting systems
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills
Responsibilities
- Coordinate preparation, review, and filing of statutory financial statements for LATAM and Caribbean entities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financials to ensure local statutory compliance
- Partner with local service providers on statutory filings and bridge statutory and U.S. GAAP books
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Treasury to accurately record and pay invoices
- Work with tax teams and service providers for VAT/GST and regulatory compliance
- Develop and enhance global accounting policies and internal financial controls
- Complete accounting close process steps for international entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses
- Record intercompany entries, reconciliation, and consolidation elimination entries
- Identify and implement process improvements and handle ad-hoc projects
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or STEM field
