Responsibilities
- Manage global supply base for critical raw material commodities across multiple SpaceX programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align supply capacity with production forecasts and design releases.
- Provide procurement guidance on manufacturability, cost reduction, and supply chain optimization.
- Assess and visit supplier facilities for capability, capacity, and quality compliance.
- Develop should-cost models and maintain adherence to project budgets and total cost ownership.
- Drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives and administer contracts and negotiations.
- Prepare and analyze RFx packages and issue purchase orders as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations including ITAR.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years experience or advanced degree with 4+ years in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, production planning, supply chain management, or related fields.
