Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers.
- Aggregate and manage demand planning for hardware in the Starlink satellite constellation.
- Act as supplier liaison for RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes and manage evaluations to drive sourcing decisions.
- Develop and maintain should-cost models to oversee competitive cost analysis and budget adherence.
- Ensure supplier readiness for prototype builds, production ramp-up, and mass production phases.
- Drive cost-saving programs and process improvements internally and with suppliers.
- Present value propositions and critical supply insights to SpaceX executives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong supplier relationships and implement supplier performance management tools.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; related fields such as engineering or supply chain preferred.
