The Team:
Our small but rapidly growing team is dedicated to enhancing both internal and external-facing B2B platforms. We strive to create seamless integrations that foster collaboration and improve operational efficiency. By leveraging innovative technologies and best practices, we ensure our platforms meet the evolving needs of our customers.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineer Manager this is a hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ. The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days a week for the first 3 months and then transition to a 3-day per week in-office schedule.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders to design and support the next generation of analytics and reporting systems. Collaborate with various teams to understand their unique data system requirements. Automate and optimize existing data processing tasks by recognizing patterns and implementing practical solutions. Ensure high performance, privacy, security, scalability, and reliability in our solutions! Guide stakeholders through knowledge sharing and best practices on the effective use of the reporting.
What you’ll be doing:
Working with various stakeholders across the organization to get the criteria for building various reports and tools
Creating real-time dashboards for display throughout the office.
Building reports for our weekly/bi-weekly meetings
Owning the day-to-day data that helps guide the company to make its data-driven decisions
The qualifications you need:
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Cloud Data Engineering, preferably with a background in computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Expertise in building Cloud Data Warehouses in Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or analogous architectures.
Deep SQL expertise, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and experience with data governance
Experience using data processing tools and technologies such as Python, Spark, Talend, Informatica, SSIS, or DBT
Nice to have:
Experience with the practical application of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and frameworks
Embrace data platform thinking, design, and develop data pipelines that prioritize security, scale, uptime, and reliability.
Able to expertly express the benefits and constraints of technology solutions to technology partners, collaborators, and team members.
