Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an General Manager 3 for our Government Services segment in McLean, Virginia! This a great opportunity for a polished and professional General Manager seeking to grow their career and skill set.

60 seat Executive dining room and catering.  Some nights and weekends, primarily Monday through Friday.  Must be holding or be able to obtain a top secret clearance as awarded by the US government, which will include a polygraph.  Union Account, Serve Safe certification a requirement, US citizenship a requirement

• have oversight of day-to-day operations;
• deliver high quality food service;
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals; 
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
• develop strategic plans;
• create a positive environment; and/or
• ensure Sodexo standards are met.

What You Bring

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; 
• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; 
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; and/or
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
