Salesforce Administrator (remote)

What you can expect in this role:

The Salesforce Administrator will drive the efficient and effective use of Salesforce within the company, ensuring that the platform supports and enhances business processes, user productivity, and customer success. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and development of Salesforce to meet company needs. This role will serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders across the organization, leveraging Salesforce's capabilities to deliver solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives

Essential Functions:

• Salesforce Administration - Manage user accounts, roles, and profiles; Maintain data quality and integrity; Configure and customize Salesforce settings; Ensure data security and compliance; Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Salesforce Product Ownership - Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce within the company; Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders; Define and manage the Salesforce roadmap; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment; Communicate updates and changes to stakeholders
• No-Code Platform App Support and Development - Identify opportunities for process improvements using Salesforce; Design and build custom applications using declarative tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder); Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and list views; Implement and manage AppExchange solutions; Provide training and support to end-users
• Continuous Improvement - Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and new features and prepare organization; Propose and implement enhancements to optimize Salesforce usage; Conduct regular system audits and cleanups; Participate in Salesforce community events and knowledge sharing.
• We are a team at Short’s Travel Management and as such, you may be expected to assist in other departments or handle tasks outside of your typical position scope for the benefit of our clients or company. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

• Salesforce certifications:  Salesforce Administrator
• 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
• Proven experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, and no-code development
• Experience with custom feature development
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and data management principles
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles
• Experienced in organizing stories and epics in Jira with a strong track record of clear, consistent documentation
• Experience debugging Flows and Apex

Preferred Skills:

• Additional 3 Salesforce certifications: Advanced Administrator, Data Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant
• Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex coding
• Familiarity with Certinia (formerly Financial Force)
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
• Experienced in using Jira to drive alignment and transparency
• Holds multiple Salesforce certifications beyond the core Admin (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Data Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant)
• Experience with Document Generation
