Senior Manager, Talent Advisory Transformation

Who we are

Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, which is a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. At Samsara, we are helping improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and we are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team that’s shaping an exciting array of product solutions, including Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, Equipment Monitoring, and Site Visibility. As part of a recently public company, you’ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.

About the role:

We’re looking for a strategic and execution-driven Senior Manager, Talent Advisory Transformation to lead a high-impact transformation: evolving our recruiting team to become trusted Talent Advisors. In this role, you’ll design and drive the programs, playbooks, process, systems, training, and cross-functional partnerships needed to elevate how our recruiters engage with business leaders, shape hiring strategy, and influence long-term talent decisions.

This role sits at the intersection of recruiting, consulting, and enablement —with a focus on increasing recruiter impact, raising hiring quality, and deepening alignment between talent and business goals.

This isn’t just a program—it’s a mindset shift. You’ll play a key role in evolving how our recruiting team shows up to the business: from transactional support to strategic partnership. If you’re passionate about building high-impact talent functions and want to shape the future of recruiting at Samsara, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C metro.

You should apply if:

  • You want to impact the industries that run our world: Your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, reduce emissions, and most importantly, ensure workers return home safely.
  • You are the architect of your own career: If you put in the work, this role won’t be your last at Samsara. We set up our employees for success and have built a culture that encourages rapid career development, countless opportunities to experiment and master your craft in a hyper growth environment.
  • You’re energized by our opportunity: The vision we have to digitize large sectors of the global economy requires your full focus and best efforts to bring forth creative, ambitious ideas for our customers.
  • You want to be with the best: At Samsara, we win together, celebrate together and support each other. You will be surrounded by a high-calibre team that will encourage you to do your best.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the Talent Advisor transformation roadmap, with clear milestones, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Design and launch scalable programs to upskill recruiters in strategic advising, data storytelling, business acumen, and talent planning.
  • Partner closely with TA leadership, People Partners, and Enablement to align on the skills, behaviors, and mindsets required for talent advisory excellence.
  • Embed tools, workflows, and measurement systems that make it easy for recruiters to operate in an advisory capacity.
  • Lead change management and internal comms to ensure buy-in and momentum across the recruiting org and its stakeholders.
  • Monitor adoption and effectiveness through surveys, performance data, and stakeholder feedback—continuously iterating based on what’s working.
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
  • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team.

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, recruiting strategy, or talent operations
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Demonstrated success in driving org-wide behavioral or capability transformation
  • Deep understanding of modern recruiting practices and what makes a great Talent Advisor
  • Skilled at synthesizing data, research, and stakeholder input into clear programs and actionable guidance
  • Excellent communicator and influencer - able to partner across TA, HR, and the business
  • A builder mindset - comfortable designing from scratch and iterating quickly

An ideal candidate also has:

  • Strong facilitation, enablement, or training background
