We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Product Manager to own the evolution of the Qualytics platform. This is a key role driving the product roadmap, prioritizing development efforts, and working across engineering, customer success, and GTM to ensure that our capabilities meet the real-world challenges of data-driven organizations.
As Product Manager, you’ll translate market insights, customer feedback, and strategic vision into a clear and actionable roadmap. You’ll define what we build next and why — ensuring that our product delivers exceptional value, usability, and performance. You’ll also play a critical role in shaping our product voice and positioning, from docs to demos to deployment.
This role combines strategic thinking with tactical execution. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is deeply passionate about solving complex data problems.
Product Strategy & Vision
Define and refine the product roadmap based on customer needs, competitive trends, and company goals
Prioritize product development initiatives to maximize customer impact and business value
Identify and validate new features and enhancements through market research and direct customer interaction
Translate data quality trends into actionable product insights
Execution & Delivery
Write clear and comprehensive product specs and user stories
Collaborate with engineering to guide feature development, QA, and release
Own development planning, backlog grooming, and ongoing prioritization
Ensure product releases meet quality, performance, and usability standards
Customer-Centric Focus
Engage deeply with customers to understand use cases, pain points, and feature feedback
Partner with Solutions and Customer Success teams to capture insights and ensure smooth adoption
Collaborate on customer-facing resources, including documentation, onboarding flows, and tutorials
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as the connective tissue between product, engineering, GTM, and customer teams
Enable marketing and sales with the right messaging, demo assets, and feature narratives
Represent product strategy and priorities to executive leadership
Data Governance & Platform Alignment
Drive integration and configuration improvements that align with enterprise architecture
Ensure our platform continues to support key use cases in data profiling, anomaly detection, and rule-based quality checks
Advocate for intuitive UX in managing metadata, lineage, check tuning, and data asset exploration
You have a strong technical acumen and a passion for building great products
You’re equally comfortable whiteboarding user flows as you are writing crisp release notes
You’re a systems thinker who can connect the dots across use cases, architecture, and value props
You balance customer empathy with a pragmatic sense of tradeoffs and velocity
You’re energized by fast-paced environments and collaborative problem-solving
Experience: 4–8 years of product management experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS or data platforms
Technical Aptitude: Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with key components of modern data infrastructure, including:
Data governance frameworks (e.g., metadata management, lineage tracking, cataloging tools)
Data quality systems (e.g., rule-based validation, anomaly detection, observability platforms)
Machine learning/AI toolchains (e.g., model monitoring, feature stores, training pipelines)
Execution Skills: Track record of shipping high-quality features in complex systems
Customer Engagement: Experience gathering and synthesizing product feedback from technical users
Experience in data quality, data observability, or metadata management
Background in data engineering or analytics roles
Exposure to Kubernetes-based SaaS or helm chart deployments
Startup experience or comfort navigating ambiguity and high-growth scaling
Contributions to developer documentation or community-led product feedback loops
We founded Qualytics based on our collective experiences working at a number of early-stage technology companies grappling with challenges related to data quality. We realized how few products are available to help organizations maintain quality & trust in their data pipelines. We're here to change that with a platform capable of detecting and proactively responding to data anomalies before they result in ML model drift, corruption of your aggregated calculations, or other pollution of your downstream systems. We believe that data is the most valuable resource to companies, and that resource isn't useful unless it's reliable.
Here's a blog we wrote summarizing some of the problems we're trying to solve: 8 Ways To Royally Flummox Your Data — and Not Even Know It
