JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Black School of Business at Penn State Behrend is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct faculty positions across a variety of disciplines for the 2025–2026 academic year. We invite applications from individuals with expertise in the following areas:

Accounting
Economics
Finance
Functional Data Analytics
Interdisciplinary Business with Engineering Studies
Interdisciplinary Science and Business
International Business
Management Information Systems
Marketing
Project and Supply Chain Management

Position Responsibilities:

Adjunct faculty will be responsible for:

Delivering high-quality instruction in assigned courses
Creating and utilizing syllabi and course materials approved by the School
Fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
Providing timely feedback and academic support to students
Collaborating with faculty and adhering to departmental standards

Qualifications:

A master’s degree in the relevant discipline or a closely related field is required.
Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

Appointment Details:

These are semester-by-semester, non-tenure-track academic appointments.
Positions are offered without benefits and do not guarantee renewal.
