Technical Customer Success Manager

Proton is seeking a driven Technical Customer Success Manager to manage and grow relationships with high-potential customers in the Greater Boston area. The role involves strategic partnership, technical fluency, and collaboration to deliver measurable business value and drive growth within an early-stage AI-powered CRM company.

Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and customer-focused approach.
  • Technical fluency with CRM products, data workflows, and reporting tools like Looker.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience using data to drive decisions, familiarity with tools such as Mixpanel.
  • Collaborative mindset working across multiple internal teams.
  • Problem-solving and escalation judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage strategic customer relationships across all levels from users to C-suite executives.
  • Drive adoption, retention, and expansion by aligning customer goals with Proton's CRM solutions.
  • Develop and execute account plans with measurable business outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to data workflows and reporting independently before escalation.
  • Use Looker for data analysis and storytelling to support value delivery.
  • Advocate for customer needs within the company, collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering.
  • Contribute ideas for customer success process improvements and team culture.
  • Travel approximately 10+ times per year for customer visits.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
