Student Research Assistant providing research lab support in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology; under direct supervision, arranges, cleans, and/or tests research or lab equipment; provides assistance in performing tests or investigations using research equipment; performs other assistance in support of a research program; assists with collecting, compiling and analyzing research data; assists with generating reports as needed; assists with maintaining research supply inventory and orders supplies as needed; picks up, sorts, and distributes mail; make copies and files; run errands. Participates in mentored research. On-the-job research training will be provided.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
Must be currently enrolled OSU student in a degree-granting program; experience operating personal computer and other office equipment required; knowledge of medical terminology desired; Requires successful completion of a background check. Selected candidate may be requested to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
