The Photo Studio Production Coordinator will be responsible for handling activities that will enable the studio’s daily processes and functions to run efficiently to maintain and increase productivity. These activities include reporting, ordering, product check-ins and shot list creation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Partner with Photo Studio Supervisor and Online Category Team to plan and execute a production strategy for items in the product catalog working with multiple teams (catalog, digital marketing, merchandise, distribution operations, etc.)
Determine what images are necessary to photograph
Determine order of importance/priority for images
Coordinate with distribution operations team to place studio product orders, check-in/receive orders, and send out daily deliveries of products.
Set-up, photograph, edit, retouch and color correct product images for our product catalog to appear on our retail website, professional website and internal POS.
Organize, rename, resize and upload image files according to internal process.
Troubleshoot and manipulate lighting and photo set up for each product to ensure quality and consistency among product images.
Collaborate with photo studio team, electronic catalog team and external suppliers as needed to improve image submission standards and workflow.
Track, monitor and report on all supplier image financial data to ensure accurate billing.
Assist with special department projects at the direction of the Managers, Director or Vice President.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Experience with photography.
Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop and Lightroom.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to analyze and present analytics and metrics.
Excellent written, verbal, communication and organizational skills.
Presents a professional company image and positive attitude.
Ability to work productively with limited supervision.
Superb attention to detail.
Self-motivated and creative.
Experience with online merchandising and product photography.
Automotive knowledge.
Experience working with cross-functional teams with an ability to influence others internally and externally.
