We're seeking a Brand Design Lead to develop creative strategy that empowers the next generation of creators and tinkerers. You'll lead Replit's first brand studio, working with a scrappy, multi-disciplinary team to elevate every expression of our identity across web, marketing, and product.

What You'll Do

• Lead brand strategy and creative direction across all touchpoints

• Manage expansive brand systems across web, marketing, and product

• Create unique campaigns and visual experiences that communicate our values and capabilities

• Plan and execute large projects with multiple workstreams through entire project lifecycle

• Continue producing creative work while managing other creatives

• Build coherent creative narratives that bridge creative and business objectives

• Facilitate culture of critique and push creative boundaries

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of creative industry experience across multiple disciplines (agencies, in-house, ventures)

• 4+ years in Creative Direction or design leadership

• Formal education in design, fine art, or computer science

• Diverse portfolio showcasing brand systems, interactive web/digital, strategy, and art direction

• Systems-thinking mindset with high standards for quality and craftsmanship

• Strong strategic insights and ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders

• Genuine interest in our industry and mission with clear point of view on design and technology

Bonus Points

• Multi-platform campaign experience and influencer collaboration

• Audience research and testing experience

• UI design and usability principles knowledge

• Network of trusted collaborators

• Adjacent skills in motion, photography, copywriting, or coding

• Teaching or professional organization participation

• Experience with engineering-led organizations
