Business Development @ OMG

Our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are the first impression of OMG for leads and prospects, making this role vital for the success of the Sales Team and OMG as a whole.

As the Manager of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and growing a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs). You’ll build a performance-driven culture that aligns with our Magic, ensures accountability, and fosters professional growth. You’ll also take ownership of lead generation strategy, operational excellence, talent management, and tooling adoption (e.g., Gong, AI sales enablement) across all of OMG’s products.

This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone passionate about building great teams and driving pipeline growth.

This position will require regular in-office presence at our Dallas, TX HQ.

Day in the Life
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing BDR team to consistently generate a qualified pipeline for OMG Sales across its entire portfolio of products.
  • Drive and execute lead generation strategies, optimizing outreach efforts, prospecting workflows, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Regularly communicate performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and ensure alignment with team and OMG-wide goals.
  • Model and reinforce OMG’s consultative sales methodology and business development process, including messaging, objection handling, and call execution.
  • Leverage Gong and other enablement tools to review calls, deliver targeted feedback, and continuously upskill the team.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to proactively build a talent bench for future BDR roles.
  • Ensure consistent CRM hygiene and reporting within Salesforce, and leverage AI-driven tools to improve BDR productivity and performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations to align on messaging, data, and outbound strategy.
  • Celebrate wins, coach through challenges, and foster a collaborative, high-energy team environment.
Must Haves
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in quota-carrying roles with at least 2+ years of sales leadership experience within a B2B SaaS company.
  • A proven track record of exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual goals both as an individual contributor and a leader.
  • Experience in leading and developing sales talent, with a strong grasp of performance management and team development.
  • Deep understanding of lead generation strategies, including pipeline building, outbound prospecting, and campaign execution.
  • Team-focused with a strong ability to hold BDRs accountable to performance expectations.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience with sales engagement platforms such as Outreach.io.
  • Hands-on experience using Gong or similar conversation intelligence tools for coaching and performance development.
  • Data-driven and analytical, with strong reporting and forecasting skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools and a strong understanding of how to leverage them to drive efficiency and results.
  • Must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and able to work from the OMG office at least 4 days per week.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident status required.
