Skills
- Deep understanding of KYC Customer Risk Rating and watchlist screening models.
- Experience in FCC/AML and sanctions compliance with model testing and validation.
- Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic) or blockchain data.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, C++.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI.
- Expertise in data management and quality controls for compliance.
- Knowledge of sanctions regimes and screening system configuration techniques.
- Ability to communicate complex validation findings to diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with FCC and compliance leads to develop compliance technology roadmap for KYC and watchlist screening.
- Lead independent validation and effectiveness testing of Customer Risk Rating models and screening engines.
- Drive initiatives to improve screening efficiency, reduce false positives, and ensure regulatory alignment.
- Develop testing strategies assessing model fitness and regulatory risk coverage.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to provide oversight and credible challenge on model design.
- Monitor ongoing model performance and enhancements to monitoring frameworks.
- Define and oversee data quality monitoring and lead data remediation efforts.
- Produce reports and documentation supporting regulatory readiness and examination.
- Keep abreast of global regulatory expectations related to KYC and sanctions screening.
- Support strategic evolution of compliance technology stack with cross-functional partners.
Education
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related quantitative field.
