Description
The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for the processing, recording, and researching of all billing and billing related functions of OENTA and for the oversight of all billings and collections from both the public and private sectors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Supervises the day-to-day operations of the Revenue Cycle Department under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle.
· Responsible for the hiring, training, evaluation, problem resolution of staff, as necessary.
· Assists in the preparation and reporting of the revenue portion of the annual budget.
· Maintains and monitors all the billing records of OENTA to ensure data accuracy and integrity, along with all necessary reports created from the financial data.
· Ensures organizational adherence and compliance with all Federal & State procedures and codes from a billing perspective.
· Oversee the preparation and distribution of all billings.
· Responsible for accounts receivable and the collection of those accounts.
· Monitors and ensures that there is sufficient backup to support billings and collections.
· Maintains accounts receivable billing system for all accounts.
· Reviews of all outstanding receivables monthly and take appropriate steps to collect outstanding receivables. Engage collection agencies as deemed necessary.
· Performs the timely reconciliation of designated receivable accounts as required by the Director and CFO.
· Monitors and analyze receipts of revenues from public and private billings on a continuing basis to ensure that OENTA is on target in collection of those receivables.
· Responsible for reporting variances from budget to actual as necessary and providing resolution recommendations.
· Ensures accurate coding and approval process on all invoices and billings.
· Responsible for assisting with all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports from the billing area as required by the specific payer/funder, OENTA and internal departments.
· Responsible for the retention and accessibility of prior year billing data and reports.
· Responsible for assistance with the upkeep and maintenance of current Federal & State coding definitions and regulations, along with the distribution of codes and regulations to appropriate departments.
· Responsible for month-end cut-off and the transfer of data to the accounting department

Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
-Minimum of four years’ working experience as a supervisor in the billing and field.
-Two years’ experience.
-Proven computer skills in applicable software products and/or applicable areas of responsibility, with knowledge of automated billing systems, Electronic Health records, spreadsheet applications, databases, and word processing software.
SKILLS:
· Elevated level of detailed billing knowledge as promulgated by Federal, State, Local and other authoritative bodies.
· Ability to apply this coding and regulations knowledge in the accurate preparation and maintenance of the billing and related records of OENTA. and its’ subsidiaries.
· Ability to develop and analyze spreadsheets and databases.
· Ability to take charge, delegate and monitor work processes of several employees.
· Must have strong attention to accuracy and detail and be able to recognize potential problems, making recommendations on corrective action, as necessary.
· Individual must have a proficient level of accuracy and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
· Must have excellent organizational skills for planning, follow through, and completing tasks by required deadlines.
