Senior Mortgage Analyst (Wholesale)

Work Location: Remote
Work Hours: 10:30-7pm eastern time
Summary:
The Senior Mortgage Analyst is responsible for a variety of duties to support the wholesale division (dba Everstream Mortgage). In this role, you will be involved with many areas of the wholesale lending process, to include disclosure desk support, lock desk support, analysis and reporting and other ad hoc duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with business partners and brokers regarding file status.
- Liaison to internal and external business partners and brokers ensuring timely and accurate communications
- Send out initial disclosures to borrowers.
- Knowledge of TRID requirements ensuring initial disclosures are sent timely and compliantly, reaching out for assistance whenever needed
- Track applications within loan origination system to ensure timely delivery of all disclosures.
- Experienced with Pipeline Management ensuring daily review for ECOA, SLA’s, rate lock expirations, contract performance dates and efficiently driving the pipeline on a daily basis and providing that reporting to management daily
- Review Changes of Circumstance to determine if any changes to disclosures are needed.
- Knowledge of Change of Circumstance and compliantly manage the required time frame and determination of valid change of circumstance for redisclosure
- Process new lock requests and pricing exceptions within our third-party loan origination software.
- Participate in some compliance related projects related to the wholesale division.
- Assist the Compliance Department in projects related to the wholesale division
- Support sign-up of new mortgage brokers.
- Follow Policies and Procedures for new mortgage brokers becoming a SME to support new mortgage brokers through the sign-up process providing both an efficient and welcoming experience
- Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
- Knowledge of agency guidelines and familiarity with All-Regs desired, training can be provided
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years in mortgage industry
- Experience working for a wholesale lender preferred
- Closing experience a plus
- Must be able to work until 7pm eastern time
- Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
- Detail-oriented with the ability to problem-solve and prioritize
- Basic understanding of agency guidelines
- Strong work ethic and desire to contribute
- Mindset of “how can I make this work”
- Comfortable asking for help whenever needed
