Head of Finance

Fitt Talent Partners is a specialized recruitment firm for top health and wellness companies.

We’re filling this role for a client - A luxury social wellness club focused on holistic health and community.

Job Description

As Head of Finance, you’ll serve as a strategic thought partner to the executive team, and Board, leading all aspects of finance, accounting, and business performance. Your work will guide how we invest, grow, and scale the business with discipline, intention, and transparency.

You will be the voice of the shareholder, ensuring financial health while enabling data-informed decision-making at every level, and partnering closely with club and HQ leaders to improve operational excellence. From helping manage club-level unit economics to designing investor-ready financial models, you’ll build the systems and culture to support a high-performing, purpose-driven organization.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning + Financial Leadership

  • Develop a clear and comprehensive financial strategy aligned to our growth and mission.

  • Lead annual and seasonal budget planning, oversee in-season forecasts, variance analyses, and revenue/profitability models to ensure the business meets its revenue and EBITDA targets.

  • Own cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and banking relationships; proactively advise the CEO and Board on risks / opportunities.

  • Define and track financial targets with clearly articulated KPIs to support top-line growth, margin improvement, capital efficiency and profitability.

  • Support all components of investor updates and reporting: prepare investor decks, board materials, and financial narratives to accompany results

  • Provide the organization with the orientation and the tools necessary to measure performance and self-assess spend and investments.

  • Partner with club leadership to align financial planning with real-world operational execution, identifying ways to drive revenue, optimize margin, and maximize labor while being disciplined about resource allocation.

Financial Reporting + Business Insights

  • Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting with relevant headlines and actionable insights for Club, HQ, and investor audiences.

  • Create tools that help club leaders and department heads to understand financial performance and drive business decisions.

  • Continue the work of developing and socializing the organization’s digital dashboards to help ground activities with results and accelerate the building of data-driven decision-making.

Club + Field Support

  • Serve as a hands-on financial partner to club and field leaders, translating data into usable insights and insights into “SMART” plans.

  • Implement labor management and expense tracking tools to measure regularly against agreed upon targets and improve local performance.

  • Educate teams on how to interpret financial data and improve outcomes in real time.

  • Collaborate with club leadership to identify performance gaps, design club-level action plans and ensure execution through financial accountability and support.

Accounting, Compliance + Reporting

  • Lead accurate and timely GAAP and cash-based reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee tax compliance, audit preparation, and regulatory filings in partnership with advisors.

  • Advise on best practices to support an MSO/PC structure.

  • Maintain a strong internal control environment and accounting calendar.

Capital Strategy + Fundraising

  • Support the executive team and board on capital planning, equity and debt fundraising.

  • Create a multi-year growth roadmap with attention to capital investments and the return of said investments.

Team + Culture Leadership

  • Lead and grow a high-integrity, high-performance finance and accounting team.

  • Foster a culture of transparency, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.

  • Mentor junior team members, enhancing financial literacy and business acumen across the organization.

  • Champion cross-functional alignment between Finance and Operations, ensuring strategic initiatives are grounded in field realities and supported with actionable insights.

Legal Oversight

  • Support contract reviews, manage legal and regulatory filings, and ensure trademarks remain in good standing.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in multi-site 4-wall hospitality, retail, or wellness.

  • Deep understanding of luxury, 4-wall operations, with a track record of aligning financial strategy, operational efficiency, and in-location performance to drive profitability and brand excellence.

  • Hands-on experience in hybrid cash + GAAP environments with deferred revenue models (e.g., membership, packages).

  • Proven track record in margin improvement, capital planning, and cross-functional financial support.

  • Experience with labor management systems, unit-level reporting, and multi-location oversight.

  • Comfort navigating both strategic planning and tactical execution.

  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent strongly preferred. MBA or advanced degree a plus.
