The Role: As Director of Product Marketing at Oden, you will be responsible for amplifying Oden’s brand recognition as the leading manufacturing data & AI company. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution to translate high-level marketing strategy into programs and tactics that drive measurable results.
You will be both a player and a coach—leading marketing strategy while also executing campaigns and creating content. Over time, you will develop and lead a small, agile marketing team while managing external resources. A deep understanding of product marketing, enterprise SaaS, and partnerships/channel marketing is essential.
Collaboration is key. You will work closely with the product, sales, and customer experience teams to develop marketing initiatives that resonate with key C-suite manufacturing customers and drive pipeline growth. You will also create distribution strategies for thought leadership content to effectively position Oden in the industry.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
Develop and execute comprehensive strategic marketing plans in close collaboration with product and sales teams.
Own and develop brand awareness strategy (PR, corporate communication, etc.) that evangelizes Oden’s vision for Industry 4.0 and technological adoption in the manufacturing sector.
Drive go-to-market strategy across multiple channels, including industry conferences, owned webinars and events, CXO roundtables, and thought leadership content such as blog posts and white papers.
Define and execute product positioning and messaging that clearly articulates Oden’s value to the pertinent manufacturing segments, supported by compelling content and a feedback loop that connects marketing efforts to real customer insights.
Develop deep expertise in Oden’s product, market, and competitive landscape to sharpen customer segmentation, prioritize high-value opportunities, and guide data-driven decisions on where to focus.
Continuously test, analyze, and optimize marketing initiatives to maximize impact and ROI.
Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support marketing initiatives and customer engagements.
Ability to thrive in the fast-paced, high-growth environment of a startup. Previous experience bringing a product that is first or new to market in Industrial Technology is a huge plus.
Lead/contribute to demand generation efforts, implementing and optimizing multi-channel campaigns (paid, organic, ABM, partnerships, etc.) to drive enterprise customer acquisition.
Establish and grow partnerships and channel marketing programs to expand Oden’s reach in the manufacturing industry.
Create sales and customer success enablement materials that communicate and train value propositions to customer-facing teams on the value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools (e.g., slide decks, one-pagers, etc.) that facilitate sales efforts
Collaborate with sales, product, and customer success teams to refine messaging.
Must-Have Experience & Qualifications:
Enterprise SaaS marketing experience: Minimum 8 years of marketing experience with proven success in B2B SaaS, targeting enterprise customers.
Experience marketing to industrial, manufacturing, or other technical B2B audiences.
Product marketing experience: A deep understanding of how to market complex, technical B2B SaaS products and translate product features into compelling customer messaging.
Background in early-stage or growth-stage startups, comfortable building marketing functions from the ground up.
Proven success in quickly translating strategy into marketing campaigns and tactics that deliver measurable results.
3+ years of team and people management experience, with a track record of hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into intuitive messaging.
Strong understanding of how enterprise customers buy and implement corporate-wide software solutions.
Data-driven mindset with an experimentative approach to testing and optimizing new strategies and channels.
Strong project management skills and organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Partnerships & channel marketing expertise: Strong preference for candidates with experience building and managing strategic partnerships and channel marketing programs to drive growth.
Demonstrated experience as a brand builder, with the ability to craft and execute a thought leadership strategy that differentiates Oden in the market.
Experience launching products and leading full go-to-market strategies, including competitive analysis, positioning, and messaging.
Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, and marketing automation tools.
Previous experience bringing a first-to-market or highly innovative product to market.

We anticipate the base salary band for this role will be between $140,000 and $190,000, in addition to equity, and benefits. The salary at offer will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
