Job Summary: 


The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team responsible for generating and converting leads into paying clients seeking help with IRS debt resolution. This role involves coaching, performance management, and strategic oversight to drive sales growth and client acquisition.  

Requirements

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with recruiters and trainers to hire, onboard, and train sales staff. 
  • Manage scheduling, territories, and performance of sales representatives. 
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Address disciplinary actions and terminations in line with company policies. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and quotas. 
  • Analyze sales data, client needs, and market trends to optimize sales strategies and identify growth opportunities. 
  • Assign leads and set realistic, achievable sales goals for the team. 
  • Work closely with prospective clients to understand their IRS debt issues and align Milestone’s services to meet those needs. 
  • Resolve client concerns and internal team challenges to ensure smooth sales operations. 
  • Partner with executive leadership to develop sales plans, goals, and initiatives aligned with company growth objectives. 
  • Represent Milestone at industry events and professional gatherings. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business success. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Tax resolution experience and IRS practice and procedure knowledge not required, but highly preferred. 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored to sales and client engagement. 
  • Proven track record in sales with strong negotiation and closing abilities. 
  • Effective leadership and team management skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or sales management software.
