Skills
- Strong drafting, legal research, and writing skills
- Knowledge of corporate law and M&A transactions
- Experience with federal securities law and Investment Advisor Act of 1940 preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and in teams
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, structure, and negotiate agreements
- Support M&A due diligence and post-deal integration
- Assist with pre-litigation and litigation including legal research and evidence gathering
- Manage communications and oversee outside counsel
- Draft and update internal company policies
- Advise on contract, corporate governance, employment law, and business law matters
- Administer contracts and track legal developments
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state (Colorado preferred)
