Position Overview

The Contract Analyst supports the commercial analysis and organization of contracts at Ulteig. This will include managing the workflow of contracts in the company, performing reviews of standard contracts and modifications thereto, editing, negotiating, and finalizing a wide range of contracts. The Analyst works across the company with a wide variety of key stakeholders to support the foundations of the business. This role is part of Ulteig’s Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and Compliance function.

What You'll Do

• Draft contracts and other legal documents from existing templates.

• Make recommendations on how to improve contract templates.

• Analyze terms and conditions of incoming contracts and various contract documents.

• Work with manager to continue to expand capabilities in different and increasingly complex contracts, including editing and negotiating contracts.

• Daily management of incoming requests for contract review and organization of signed contracts.

• Interpret the delegation of authority to advise on the contract process.

• Facilitate and improve contract development process.

• Assist with multiple projects related to the analysis of the existing master agreement pool.

• Help to build contract education for the rest of the company.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

• Responsible for ensuring firm/ professional information is accurate and maintained.

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager of Legal Operations and Governance to oversee the books and records of the Costa Rica legal entity

• Work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization in a team environment.

• Comply with all company and client safety standards.

• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Other projects as assigned.

What We Expect from You

• Either a Bachelor’s degree plus 3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating contracts or 7+ years working independently and creatively drafting and negotiating contracts.

• Strong interpersonal relationship skills, well-rounded knowledge, critical thinking skills, and ability to research and understand changing legal trends.

• Must be detail-oriented, analytical, diligent, a quick learner, and able to manage a variety of competing priorities in a timely manner.

• Required to have proven experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Teams).

• Must be authorized to work permanently in U.S.
