Video Editor - Full Time with Benefits

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for working alongside the primary graphic designer and videographer to create, design and edit both print and video content. The position also works in conjunction with the Creative Team to help in the development and content deliverables for Manna live services and the Manna Online platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Return all communications within 24 hours (1 business day)
• Ensure Paylocity is up to date
  • This includes recording your own hours (if applicable), approving your shifts by the 5th and 20th of each month, and requesting leave in a timely manner
• Work with the video and graphics team to come up with creative video/graphic ideas for songs, sermon bumpers, announcements, creative pieces, social media content, testimony videos and more.
• Be available to film and edit videos that will be used in our services and other platforms of communication.
• Research current media to keep up to date with the latest video trends.
• General editing, downloading, uploading, converting of videos for web use
• Shared responsibility for ensuring content is ready prior to the Weekend Experience.
• Work collaboratively and proactively with internal clients at all levels to assess project requirements, including client preferences, timeframes, and budgets. Maintain strong communication channels to ensure they are informed of emerging trends, opportunities, delays, or developments associated with projects.
• Other duties as assigned from the Weekend Experience Pastor or direct supervisor.
• Maintain a centrally stored filing system and backup for all work produced by the Creative Department. 
• Digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence deciding what is usable
• Overseeing the quality of the audio in the video
• Consulting with the director, producer and/or ministry client throughout the post-production process
• Help produce content to assist in supporting the needs of some of our other Manna Church church plants.    

Additional Duties

• Set up the studio for Morning Manna Podcast, which includes getting 2 cameras from the Worship Center.
• Record Morning Manna Podcast with the team.
• Assist with post production for the Morning Manna Podcast.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Supervise assistant videographers, camera operators, and production assistants
• Assign daily tasks and roles during shoots
• Ensure crew adheres to timelines and production quality standards

Job Qualifications:

A Certification or Degree in a related field such as Video Editing/Media…or 3 year equivalent in experience working in this field.

 Spiritual Requirements:

• Regular involvement in Manna Church activities and events.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift and carry 20–50 lbs (tripods, lighting gear, cameras, etc.)
• Occasional transport of heavier equipment (up to 75 lbs with assistance)
