ABOUT THIS TEAM


Our Global Distribution teams are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. This team supports lululemon’s overall purpose by ensuring we are fulfilling our products to our guests through our various channels including our retail stores and ecommerce.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Will be assigned to a main department, however, will support all areas of the distribution center including but not limited to value added services, receiving, returns, damages, picking, packing, transfers, shipping, and overall movement of inventory as business needs dictate
  • Employees may be assigned a new home department depending on business needs
  • Picks, packs, processes, and ships orders in a timely and accurate manner as assigned by leadership 
  • Meets or exceeds engineered metrics i.e., units picked per hour/orders per hour and takes personal responsibility around daily metrics and performance
  • Can effectively use and solve basic problems in: Picking/putting systems, Scanners, Etc.
  • Understands safety guidelines for department and maintains a safe work environment through our safety program and lean mentality
  • Keeps their warehouse area clean and always organized
  • Engages in training, team building, meetings, and personal development
  • Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with DC Guidelines and company policies
  • Can receive and process feedback in support of improving job performance demonstrating a beginning ability to give and share feedback to others
  • Capable of recognizing and raising communication around tasks, department issues, and relevant personal contexts
  • Demonstrates beginning ability to support and advise peers around standard operating procedures
  • Understands when and where to leverage various department-specific resources and tools
  • Knows layout and storage procedures for department resources
  • Clearly understands expectations and legal requirements of all safety policies within the DC
  • Recognizes basic function/ operations of own DC Department
  • Understands basic operational flow of DC department and can identify areas to support within the department based on daily volume and raise daily operations issues as they arise


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Capable of adapting to third party technologies (RF scanners, voice picking and new systems) 
  • Excellent counting skills and detail focused 
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements 
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently 
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment 
  • Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits Package


Typical Hiring Range: $19.35 - $19.35/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location 

Target Bonus: 5% 

Total Target Base Pay Range: $20.32 - $20.32/hour 

Additional Shift Premiums: $1.00 - $1.00, depending on location

UN DÍA EN LA VIDA

  • Se le asignará a un departamento principal; sin embargo, brindará apoyo en todas las áreas del centro de distribución (distribution center, DC), incluidos, entre otros, servicios de valor agregado, recepción, devoluciones, daños, recolección, empaque, transferencias, envíos y movimiento general de inventario, según lo requieran las necesidades comerciales.
  • A los empleados se les puede asignar un nuevo departamento de origen, dependiendo de las necesidades comerciales.
  • Recoge, empaca, procesa y envía pedidos de manera oportuna y precisa según lo asigne el liderazgo. 
  • Cumple o supera las métricas de ingeniería, es decir, unidades recogidas por hora o pedidos por hora, y asume la responsabilidad personal por las métricas y los rendimientos diarios.
  • Puede usar y resolver de manera efectiva problemas básicos relacionados con lo siguiente: sistemas de recogida y colocación, escáneres, etcétera.
  • Entiende las pautas de seguridad para el departamento y mantiene un ambiente de trabajo seguro a través de nuestro programa de seguridad y mentalidad LEAN.
  • Mantiene su área de bodega limpia y siempre organizada.
  • Participa en capacitaciones, formación de equipos, reuniones y desarrollo personal.
  • Es responsable de realizar las tareas laborales de acuerdo con las pautas para el DC y las políticas de la compañía.
  • Puede recibir y procesar comentarios para mejorar el desempeño laboral, demostrando una capacidad inicial de dar y compartir comentarios con otros.
  • Es capaz de reconocer y aumentar la comunicación en torno a tareas, problemas del departamento y contextos personales relevantes.

APTITUDES

  • Capacidad de adaptación a tecnologías de terceros (escáneres de RF, sistemas de picking por voz y nuevos sistemas). 
  • Excelentes habilidades de conteo y atención a los detalles. 
  • Capacidad de cumplir con los requisitos de asistencia. 
  • Capacidad de levantar hasta 22.68 kilos (50 libras) con frecuencia. 
  • Capacidad de mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro. 
  • Flexible y adaptable, con un horario que podría incluir noches, requisito de trabajo en días festivos, fines de semana con requisitos ocasionales de horas fuera de turno y horas extra.
  • Se requiere dominio suficiente del inglés para comprender, hablar y leer con el fin de seguir políticas de seguridad y otros protocolos, así como para participar en capacitaciones e instrucciones. Se alienta a los solicitantes bilingües a postularse

Paquete de compensación y beneficios


Tarifa de contratación: $19.35 - $19.35/hora, sujeto al salario mínimo de la localidad 

Bonificación por objetivos: 5% 

Tarifa total de contratación por objetivos: $20.32 - $20.32/hora 

Primas adicionales por turno: $1.00 - $1.00, dependiendo de la ubicación
