We are seeking a strategic and innovative Director of Data Science & Machine Learning Engineering to lead the design and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. This role will drive the company's data science and AI vision, ensuring the successful implementation of machine learning models to meet evolving business needs. As a key member of the data leadership team, you will oversee a multidisciplinary group of data scientists and ML engineers, collaborating across departments to deliver high-impact AI initiatives. Accountabilities:

• Define and execute the organization’s data science and AI/ML roadmap aligned with long-term business goals.
• Lead the development and deployment of advanced ML models and generative AI solutions to solve business-critical challenges.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists, ML engineers, and researchers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
• Oversee AI/ML projects from ideation through production, ensuring delivery on time and with business impact.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales to integrate AI/ML across all departments.
• Implement robust AI governance practices and ensure compliance with ethical standards and data privacy regulations.
• Engage stakeholders to communicate project goals, milestones, and technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Continuously monitor industry trends to evolve internal capabilities and maintain a competitive edge in AI/ML.

• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML or data science roles, including at least 5 years in leadership positions.
• Deep understanding of supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, deep learning, and related AI/ML frameworks.
• Strong programming expertise in Python, R, or similar languages, and experience with cloud-based ML infrastructure.
• Proven ability to deliver large-scale AI/ML solutions with measurable business outcomes.
• Skilled in leading technical teams and executing multi-phase, cross-functional AI projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strategic mindset.
• Deep commitment to ethical AI development and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with modern MLOps practices and scalable model deployment.
