Staff Frontend Engineer
Skills
- Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js
- Strong understanding of web fundamentals including HTML, CSS, DOM, and browser APIs
- Experience with web performance optimization and accessibility standards
- Proficient with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress
- Skilled in using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) effectively without compromising code quality
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of the core user interface ensuring scalability and performance
- Collaborate with product designers to transform wireframes and mockups into interactive and intuitive user experiences
- Champion frontend best practices including component reusability, accessibility, performance optimization, and testing
- Integrate and leverage AI coding assistants to accelerate development while ensuring code quality and security
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor junior engineers in the frontend domain
- Experiment with new frameworks, libraries, and tools to deliver optimal solutions
- Own the frontend development lifecycle from concept through deployment and ongoing iteration
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
