Technology & Systems Manager
At Indiewalls, we source, commission, and produce artwork for some of the most iconic hospitality and commercial spaces around the world. Our work spans consulting, curation, custom fabrication, and logistics. We’re a 45-person business combining creativity with production at scale - and we rely on smart, integrated systems to bring it all together.
We're seeking a hands-on, systems-minded Director of Technology & Systems to own and optimize our growing tech stack. This is not a developer role; it’s for someone with a strong IT, systems, or technical project management background who’s passionate about building tools that actually work. You’ll assess our current platforms (Airtable, QuickBooks Online, Power BI, HubSpot, and others), identify what’s working, what’s not, and lead thoughtful improvements, including evaluating new solutions.
Your mission: Make our tech stack more efficient, more integrated, and more intuitive — while helping us scale operations without adding complexity.
Who You Are
- 5+ years in a technical systems, IT, or operations tech role, ideally in a creative services, production, or consulting environment
- Deep experience with tools like Airtable, HubSpot, Power BI, QuickBooks Online, Asana, and related platforms
- Skilled at evaluating and implementing new tech and sunsetting what's no longer serving the business
- Comfortable with workflow design, systems mapping, and no-code/low-code platforms
- A great communicator who understands business operations and how tech can support them
- Bonus if you have familiarity with art, manufacturing, framing, or interior design workflows

- Own the Tech Stack: Manage and improve our core systems, including Airtable, QuickBooks Online, Power BI, HubSpot, and Asana (or alternatives). Assess how they work together, maintain them, and evolve them over time.
- Evaluate & Recommend Tools: We’re not attached to any one platform. We want your expertise in recommending smarter alternatives when needed, with a balance between innovation and stability.
- Optimize Workflows: Partner with team leads to understand pain points and design tools and processes that make cross-functional collaboration easier and faster.
- Oversee Integrations: Ensure our platforms communicate with one another effectively to reduce manual work and data silos.
- System Training & Documentation: Support team adoption through training, documentation, and clear systems guidance.
- Basic IT Oversight: Manage internal tech access, permissions, and digital infrastructure for a smooth day-to-day environment.
