We're seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to support the deployment and operation of a client #Telecom and #SystemMonitoring solution. This is a customer-facing role involving cross-functional collaboration with Tier 2/3 support, R&D, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee validation, testing, and technical analysis of the deployed solution
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting in #CustomerEnvironments
- Execute end-to-end test plans and solution acceptance
- Collaborate on issue resolution across internal support tiers
- Prepare documentation for deployment and integration
- Lead technical conversations and drive problem resolution
Core Skills
- Expertise with #LinuxOS and shell scripting (#Bash, #CSH, #KSH, #SH)
- Hands-on experience with #OpenStack, #HeatTemplates, and #AzureAKS
- Proficient in #Python, #Docker, #Ansible, #Kubernetes, and #Microservices
- Understanding of #SIP, #IPTelephony, #Wireshark, and #TelecomProtocols
- Solid grasp of #TCPIP, #UDP, #SIP, #SSH, #RTP, #DNS, #Syslog, and related protocols
Bonus Skills
- Familiarity with #5GCallFlows and #5GC_SBI
- Exposure to #Kafka, #ElasticSearch, #Spark, #MariaDB
- Understanding of #WSO2, #LDAP, and SSO technologies
Must-Haves
- 5+ years in a client-facing technical role
- Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Experience in #Agile / #Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and the ability to lead technical discussions
- Willingness to be onsite full-time in Atlanta, with rare travel as needed
