Responsibilities
- Maintain book accounting for taxes and prepare monthly tax provision journal entries
- Provide quarterly estimates of the projected Effective Tax Rate and cash paid for taxes
- Complete account reconciliations for current and deferred income tax accruals
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of estimated federal and state taxes
- Coordinate with AP and Treasury for proper GL recording
- Facilitate annual tax return preparation and act as liaison with third-party tax firms
- Manage tax audit responses and monitor tax notices
- Calculate R&D credits, UNICAP, and manufacturing credits
- Review nexus and filing requirements periodically
- Support sustainability-related tax credits and incentives
- Maintain documentation and payments related to shareholders and fixed assets
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
