Responsibilities: Conduct initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students, collaborate with other therapists, and provide culturally relevant counseling.
Skills: Licensed as LCSW-C, LMFT, or LCPC; capable of using technology for telehealth; experienced in child mental health interventions.
Qualifications: 3+ years of licensure in Maryland with additional license eligibility in other states.
Location: Work remotely from the specified states in the USA, including Maryland.
Compensation: $100 - $100 / Hourly

We are seeking licensed therapists who are passionate about delivering mental health support through virtual intakes and assessments for students (K-12). This role offers the flexibility of working as an independent contractor while supporting our mission of accessible mental health care.
Schedule: Monday-Friday after 4pm EST

As a Pediatric Mental Health Intake Therapist (Virtual) working as an independent contractor, your primary responsibility will be conducting initial mental health intakes and assessments for K-12 students.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive - $100 per session hour, $30 per no show, $40 per hour for onboarding. Please Note: As a 1099 independent contractor, you will not receive benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or access to Hazel’s retirement savings contributions. You are responsible for managing your own taxes, securing your own equipment, insurance, and other work-related equipment and expenses.
