THE POSITION

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to closely work with Program leadership to shape, drive and execute on large-scale initiatives that align with strategic business goals and deliver measurable benefits. The role will be part of our Strategy, Change & Transformation team who shape, enable and drive the strategic change agenda within Group COO, and are at the centre of our leading (and growing) global business. This role requires  end-to-end project delivery experience, underpinned by strong stakeholder management, collaboration and problem-solving skills to drive successful business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering enterprise-wide transformation projects of work, engaging with senior team members, and navigating cross functional business environments.

Within the Strategy Change & Transformation function, success will be determined by:

  • Project Delivery: Support in delivering end-to-end solutions by starting transformations well, executing well and optimising beyond delivery. Achieving key milestones on time and within budget while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Leading and develop a small project team and support the development of the wider Strategic Change & Transformation function, growing our collective capability, capacity and sense of team
  • Elevating Transformation across FanDuel and Flutter: Uplifting and innovating to develop our strategic delivery capability across FanDuel and Flutter
  • Operational Efficiency: Demonstrating tangible improvements in operational processes and business performance as a result of project initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Satisfaction: Building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication across teams, senior management, and external partners.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identifying escalate or mitigating risks, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and supporting our enterprise risk profile.
  • Financial Impact: Support the delivery of growth and efficiencies, optimising resource allocation, and driving value creation within the organisation.
  • Change Adoption: Support the smooth implementation of new processes or systems, with high adoption rates and minimal resistance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Embedding a culture of continuous learning and best practice sharing across teams and projects.

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Ensure we start, execute and optimize transformations well
  • Support planning, execution, and governance of large-scale programs or projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, providing direction and motivation to ensure successful execution
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps, in partnership with program manager, ensuring alignment with business objectives and key priorities
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate low level risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
  • Manage workstreams and deliverables successfully, fostering collaboration and effective ways of working
  • Proactively gather and make sense of a vast amount of information from a wide range of sources, and provide clear insights and storytelling to support decision making
  • Establish and monitor critical measures to track the project’s success and report progress to program leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement by bringing together lessons learned and implementing best practices in the project
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and quality standards throughout the program lifecycle
  • Comfortable leading a small team and providing hands-on execution

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Experienced in a Project Manager role preferably within Consumer, Retail, Tech, Gaming or eCommerce industries.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Ensures project updates are clear, insightful, aligned to objectives and resonate with leaders and teams
  • Excellent engagement skills across organizational levels, you collaborate with.
  • Comfortable navigating a global organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple capabilities, manage workstreams and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with financial and budget tracking management.
  • Problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and delivery capabilities in project delivery
  • Experience with business change management
  • Proven experience within project delivery roles.
  • PRINCE2, PMP, Agile ,MSP, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation or technology enabled projects.
  • Consulting experience is a plus.

The applicable salary range for this position is $94,000 - $117,500 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
