Job Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Platform Owner to take ownership of the HCM platform. This role will lead the strategic and technical direction of our Oracle Cloud HCM environment, ensuring it evolves in alignment with the firm’s growth—particularly through mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of functional and technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic leader and owner of the Oracle Cloud HCM platform.
  • Manage both technical and functional elements of the platform to meet evolving business needs.
  • Align Oracle HCM capabilities with Grant Thornton’s operational objectives and digital roadmap.
  • Lead a team of Oracle Cloud HCM experts, providing mentorship and direction.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to translate business challenges into system solutions.
  • Oversee system upgrades, configuration changes, and integrations with other platforms.
  • Ensure platform reliability, security, and optimal performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across all HCM functions.
  • Maintain platform documentation and define operational best practices.
  • Lead or support roadmap development, enhancements, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
  • Track Oracle HCM updates and emerging features to assess relevance and applicability.
  • Align Oracle HCM with enterprise platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Informatica, Microsoft 365, ERP, Dayshape, Power Platform) for reporting, automation, and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in Information Technology or HRIS, with a strong focus on Oracle Cloud HCM.
  • Proven track record of managing enterprise-wide Oracle HCM implementations.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Oracle HCM modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Talent, and Compensation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience supporting HCM system configurations and resolving functional issues.
  • Demonstrated success in mergers and acquisitions, especially HR system integrations.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), key reporting metrics, and full-cycle HCM project delivery.
  • Ability to work within a hybrid model, attending in-person at a GT office or client site 2 days per week.
