We are seeking an experienced and dedicated part-time Video Editor to join our news team. This role requires flexibility to work a varied schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop to create and edit news content.
- Collaborate with the news team to ensure smooth and efficient news production.
- Manage and operate microwave and satellite signals, IFB, frame synchronizers, Dejero, and LiveU.
- Stay up-to-date with new and emerging newsgathering technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a local television station news department.
- Proven ability to multitask in a high-pressure television news environment.
- Experience editing non-linear video using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong understanding of video formats and codecs.
- Previous experience managing microwave and satellite signals, IFB, frame synchronizer, Dejero, and LiveU.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Dalet Galaxy is a plus.
- Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Previous experience as a photojournalist is a plus.
