Part-Time Senior Environmental Scientist

Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Part-Time Senior Environmental Scientist to join our environmental group in our Parsippany, NJ office. The applicant must be proficient in reviewing and commenting on design plans and specifications as applicable to environmental permitting and jurisdictions. Individuals should have state and federal permitting experience in New Jersey (General/Nationwide /Individual Wetland Permits, Pinelands and Highlands and Coastal Wetland Permits, including Waterfront Development and CAFRA permits) and experience in compensatory mitigation strategies and plans (banks, turnkey, on-site design) and coordinating with jurisdictional agencies.  The position requires working in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

Primary focus is to review design plans for environmental execute project activities with client and project team and coordinate with regulatory agencies.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• BS Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field
• Minimum 20 years of experience
• Meets project, client and regulatory deadlines
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam

Salary Range

The projected range for this position is $72.06 to $92.65 hourly. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
