DailyPay is transforming into a financial media network, and we're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager, Ad Experiences to help drive this exciting initiative within R&D. This pivotal role will work closely with the Director of Ad Operations to define, build, and launch innovative advertising products and features that will turn DailyPay into a dynamic new revenue channel. This role reports to the leader of DailyPay’s Consumer Product Management team.
You will be instrumental in defining the product roadmap and user experience for our in-app advertising placements, helping to evolve our existing marketplace of perks and offers into a robust advertising platform, and identifying new passive monetization opportunities throughout the DailyPay application. This is a chance to shape a brand-new product line, directly impacting our business growth and enhancing the value we provide to our users.
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Collaborate with the Director of Ad Operations and other stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for DailyPay's ad experiences, translating business goals into actionable product initiatives.
Feature Definition & Execution: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for new ad features and placements, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch, iteration, and optimization. This includes detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and mockups.
User Experience (UX) Focus: Champion a seamless and positive user experience for all ad placements, ensuring that monetization efforts enhance, rather than detract from, the core DailyPay product.
Ad Tech Integration: Work closely with engineering teams to define roadmap, requirements, and day to day operations as it relates to build/buy decisions, integration and optimization of ad serving technologies, ensuring efficient, reliable, and effective delivery of advertising content.
Data Analysis & Optimization: Utilize product analytics, A/B testing, and market research to continuously identify opportunities for product improvement, monetization optimization, and user engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the product liaison across various teams, including Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and the Ad Operations team, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of product initiatives.
Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging ad technologies to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities.
Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate product plans, progress, and results to internal teams and leadership.
Compliance & Privacy: Ensure all ad products and features adhere to relevant industry standards, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and internal policies.
5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on ad tech, digital media, or monetization products.
Solid understanding of the ad tech ecosystem, including ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, programmatic advertising, and various ad formats (display, native).
Proven ability to define, launch, and iterate on successful digital products, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Experience with agile development methodologies and working closely with engineering and design teams.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable with data analysis, A/B testing, and making data-driven product decisions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
A user-centric mindset with a passion for building intuitive and valuable product experiences.
Familiarity with financial services, FinTech, or consumer apps is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
