As our first recruiter, you’ll play a critical role in shaping our team and talent function. You’ll lead end-to-end recruiting across key roles (engineering, product, go-to-market, and operations), build scalable processes, and help define what great hiring looks like at Crosby Legal.

Own the full-cycle recruiting process: sourcing, screening, scheduling, closing
Partner directly with hiring managers and leadership to deeply understand hiring needs
Build out recruiting processes, templates, scorecards, and ATS workflows
Source and engage passive candidates across multiple functions
Drive a strong candidate experience that reflects our values
Track metrics and use data to iterate and improve continuously
Represent the company brand externally, help us tell our story, and attract top talent
Respect the Candidate: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from the first point of contact to the final offer.
Know the Market: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the technology and AI job market to inform recruiting strategies.
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (in-house)
A highly organized and process-driven, but adaptable, as things change
Strong sourcing skills and know-how to build pipelines from scratch
Great communicator and relationship builder with both candidates and hiring managers
Someone who can take ownership and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Passionate about building teams and helping people find the right opportunities
Ability to adapt on the fly in a fast-paced start-up environment
Experience setting up ATS or recruiting systems (we use Ashby)
You’ve been a “first” recruiter and love building from zero to one
Experience hiring across multiple functions, especially technical and GTM roles
Extensive experience hiring AI-first candidates
