Job Summary

The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience. The Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best-in-class, most reliable access network for our customers.

The VP of Network Business Development plays a significant role within the CONNECT team and will be focused on leading our network commercial strategy. This position reports directly to Elad Nafshi, Chief Network Officer, and will be leading the charge in our growth portfolio.

We are seeking a strong product leader with demonstrated network industry experience that will shape our product portfolio and Go-to-Market sales strategy for our set of core capabilities: Core & Access Network, Edge Compute, Network Data Sciences, Tooling and Accessories (Fiber Meters). This leader will have the unique ability to bridge technical acumen with strong business expertise and market awareness.

This role is responsible for the development of both the short-term and long-term product sales strategy for the network organization.

We are seeking someone who possesses a positive outlook, a strong desire for continuous learning, excellent listening skills, a passionate advocacy for our goals, a balanced and pragmatic approach to partnerships, a talent for building strong relationships, and the ability to collaborate with peers, as well as with the teams within TPX, XGIE, and other divisions.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities  

  • Develop SWAT Analysis of the market for various network product LOBs, as well as upstream TAM analysis for potential propositions. 

  • Incubate new product concepts and develop value proposition and positioning given market assessments. 

  • Manage our external relationships (i.e. Business Partners, Vendors, JV and M&A candidates). 

  • Partner with Strategic Development, Syndication, Legal, Finance and CONNECT Shared Services on managing qualified opportunities where applicable.  

  • Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to understand the roadmap needs of our business partners, translating them into actionable plans within the planning process.  

  • Lead the development of product marketing materials that can be shared externally.  

  • Drive the Growth Product Catalog and Roadmap, ensuring the right prioritization and resourcing is allocated to revenue opportunities.  

  • Works collaboratively to drive execution and accountability.

  • Background in Sales & Leadership, Product Strategy, and Go-to -Market Strategy highly preferred.  

  • Ability to excel in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, displaying adaptability and responsiveness, particularly when confronted with ambiguity.  

  • Exceptional accountability, taking ownership of issues, and ensuring their resolution.  

  • A dynamic self-starter who flourishes with collaboration and maintains a positive outlook.  

  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with functional teams, influencing and fostering alignment.
