ABOUT THE POSITION
The Senior Manager- Global Product Line Management leads a category unit in creating seasonal product strategies while supporting long-range planning. Leads a PLM Team on the development of seasonal line plans and ensures successful Go-to-Market activities globally. Leads cross-functional teams to develop and drive a unified vision of the product line that meets the needs of the consumer while driving profitable growth. Mentors, coaches, guides team members to drive product excellence and team performance that drives company growth initiatives around the globe.

Key in the development and efforts to develop and execute the mid- and long-term strategy for the business through marketplace, and consumer research and analysis identifying opportunities to grow the business long term.
Effectively works cross-functionally building partnerships and gains support from key stakeholders in Design, Finance, Planning, Marketing, Sales, and Manufacturing to ensure priorities are aligned.
Owns the development and creation of a seasonal line plan, including big ideas, growth drivers, and competitive pricing analysis that align with the business's strategic direction and result in the meeting or exceeding of revenue and productivity metrics.
Manage team's efforts across all global waypoint and Go-to-Market activities. Ensures they meet all calendar deliverables and deadlines defined by the brand's master calendar.
Supports the individual development of team members needs, ensuring the success of the team. Provides timely feedback and development conversations that support the team's career growth. Provides individual and team recognition as well as constructive and courageous feedback.
Plays a leading role for cross-functional product teams. Provides leadership and vision to the overall team. Partners with other functional peer leaders to ensure teams execute on strategic direction and priorities of the business and hold teams accountable.
Identifies best practices in order to improve communication, operational efficiency, process, tools, and sustains seamless working relationships.
Demonstrates effective conflict management and problem-solving skills.
Works cross functionally on process improvement.

YOU HAVE
Bachelor's or masters degree, or applicable certification or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 10 years product line management experience in the sportswear, outdoor or action sports industry.
4 plus years of experience in a management function, leading and developing a team.
Experience managing both individual contributors and supervisors/managers.
Manages employees in a global sub-function doing similar work or manages multiple teams doing similar work.
Solid business management and product management skills and demonstrated financial acumen.
Strong understanding of the consumer, retail environment and competitive marketplace.
Possess a deep and thorough knowledge of Apparel product creation and commercialization processes and functions, as well as good working knowledge of other functions including Sales, Planning, Marketing, Retail Merchandising.
Possess an expert understanding of the global Outerwear Outdoor Industry is preferred.
Requires strong leadership and diplomacy skills to guide teams and facilitate collaboration.
Possess excellent organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills and excellent presentation skills.
Must have a strong ability to troubleshoot and solve problems of moderate complexity or difficulty.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external contacts both domestically and on an international scope.
