Staff Software Engineer, AI Security Engineering, Central Technology
Skills
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on security.
- Proficiency in Python and at least one systems-level programming language such as Go, Rust, or C++.
- Experience securing cloud-based and on-premises AI infrastructure.
- Ability to automate systems to minimize human errors.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure-by-default infrastructure and services supporting AI/ML workloads.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data engineers, and platform teams to integrate security best practices.
- Develop or acquire tooling and automation to detect and mitigate AI-specific vulnerabilities such as model poisoning and adversarial attacks.
- Stay current on AI threat landscapes, compliance standards (e.g., NIST AI RMF, GDPR), and emerging AI/ML security frameworks.
- Leverage and contribute to open source security tools and technologies.
- Monitor and respond to emerging threats to AI/ML systems, including incident response and root cause analysis.
- Employ strong authentication, authorization, encryption, container security, and network security expertise.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (implied from experience requirements).
