Skills
- Expertise in Cadence Virtuoso schematic and layout tools, ADE Assembler/Explorer, and Spectre simulation.
- Experience with signoff tools such as Pegasus, Quantus, VoltusFI, or Calibre.
- Strong scripting skills in SKILL and Python for automation purposes.
- FlexLM license server administration and troubleshooting.
- Version control with Git, IC Manage (gdpxl), or similar tools.
- PDK integration experience for advanced FinFET nodes down to N5.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CAD environments for Analog/AMS, ASIC, Photonics, and Systems teams.
- Define, implement, and automate custom and digital design/signoff flows.
- Install, configure, and optimize EDA tools (Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens) and FlexLM licenses.
- Integrate and validate PDKs, technology files, and IP libraries with foundry/vendor collaboration.
- Manage SLURM cluster infrastructure and job scheduling to optimize resource utilization.
- Write automation scripts (Python, TCL, SKILL, Bash) to improve CAD workflows.
- Maintain design repositories and enforce version control best practices.
- Debug SPICE, DRC/LVS, PEX, and EMIR issues to enhance performance and reliability.
- Monitor license and cluster usage and recommend scaling strategies.
- Collaborate with EDA vendors to resolve issues and evaluate new tools.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
