- Strong knowledge of fund administration compliance, regulations, and operational controls
- Experience in building and managing compliance frameworks in financial services or fintech
- Proficiency in risk assessment, regulatory inquiries, and audit coordination
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate complex compliance requirements effectively
- Legal expertise licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
Responsibilities
- Build compliance controls and lead the compliance team for the US Fund Administration business
- Design, implement, and test policies and procedures for fund accounting, treasury operations, and payment technology
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Go-To-Market, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, Product, and Engineering
- Lead responses to customer and regulatory inquiries, and coordinate with Anti-Money Laundering Compliance
- Develop and conduct compliance training sessions and risk assessments
- Supervise annual business audits and evaluate fund client behaviors for potential risks
- Stay engaged with Fund Admin business and R&D meetings to ensure compliance in new products and operations
Education
- Law degree (JD or equivalent)
- License to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
