Senior Data Sales Representative

BuildZoom is a rapidly growing tech company, dramatically improving the construction process and results. Over the past year, we managed over $400M in construction projects and are on pace to double this year. The ideal candidate is an inside sales representative with a strong work ethic who embraces coaching, is highly professional, and has a history of exceeding quota. In this position, you’ll be directly responsible for selling BuildZoom’s Data Explorer. Data Explorer is a tool that gives clients access to building permit data, which allows businesses to improve their marketing efforts, win more jobs, understand property value, create contractor work profiles, etc. 


This role will typically operate under the shift of 8 am to 5 pm Arizona Time. This is a hybrid position that requires working in our Phoenix office (cross-streets Central Ave and Thomas Rd) on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Tuesdays and Fridays may be worked remotely. 


Compensation: OTE $120k-$140k


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct 50+ outbound cold calls daily to targeted prospects with the goal of booking qualified appointments
  • Present and pitch our data solutions to prospects via video calls, clearly articulating value and handling objections with confidence
  • Own the full sales cycle — from initial outreach to closing deals — while consistently meeting or exceeding activity and revenue targetsFollow a proven sales process and script with discipline, while continuously improving based on coaching and performance metrics
  • Maintain accurate records and pipeline updates in our CRM, ensuring follow-ups and opportunities are tracked and advanced systematically
  • Master our objection handling tools to give yourself the best opportunity possible to communicate value to property owners


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or a track record for incredible sales performance that we can validate
  • 2+ years of inside sales experience (B2B) and a track record for consistently surpassing revenue targets preferred 
  • Eager to learn, capable of learning new sales systems, willing to utilize scripts on sales calls, and receptive to coaching
  • Experience using CRMs and web-based applications (including but not limited to G-Suite, Aircall, and Front)
  • Clear and precise communication on the phone; organized and disciplined off the phone
  • Someone who is competitively driven by both individual and team-oriented goals and relentless in working the phone to get deals done
